Massimiliano Lanza made his NWES debut in 2018. In 2020 he was forced to a partial schedule due to a wrist injury he sustained in Grobnik.

2021: He returned to the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series full-time with CAAL Racing to chase the his first NWES win and the Legend Trophy title in the EuroNASCAR 2 championship. Lanza won the 2022 Legend Trophy.

2022: Lanza moved full-time to the EuroNASCAR PRO championship, driving the #88 CAAL Racing Camaro.
