Despite his age, Martin Doubek is one of the veterans of the NASCAR Euro Series, having first debuted in 2015. Doubek took his first OPEN podium in 2016 and continued his growth for the next couple of seasons, primarily doing the double in both V8GP and OPEN.

The Czech driver rose to the top in 2020 where he took his first wins in Zolder. He chose to put his focus in OPEN for 2021 and was rewarded with his first title, battling Tobias Dauenhauer to the Finals in Italy.

He faced stiff opposition in OPEN in 2022 and finished fourth in the standings. Having returned to competing in both V8GP and OPEN, he scored his first V8GP podium in a thrilling race at Brands Hatch. More podiums followed in 2023 on both V8GP and OPEN before Doubek made history in 2024.

Prior to 2024, no one has ever won the OPEN division twice. Doubek changed it that year with a highly dominant campaign, scoring six wins and five additional podiums to etch his name in the history books.

Doubek fought hard to retain his title in 2025, but Thomas Krasonis edged the Czech driver for the prize in the Finals. The drive to create more history is not over though and in 2026, Doubek will pursue another opportunity to become a three-time OPEN champion with the #7 Hendriks Motorsport Ford.
