Kenko Miura is the first Japanese driver to compete in the NASCAR Euro Series. Miura made his debut in 2017, racing in both V8GP and OPEN. He did the double again in 2018 and made history with his achievements: Not only was Miura the first Japanese driver to win the Challenger Trophy, he was also the first Japanese driver to score an overall podium finish when he finished third in OPEN at Zolder in the NASCAR Euro Series Finals.
In 2019, he focused in V8GP and finished third in the Challenger Trophy battle. Miura has not competed full-time since then, but he competed in the NASCAR O'Reilly and Truck Series and kept his fitness in check so that he’s ready to compete whenever the opportunity to race in V8GP and OPEN arrives.
The automotive expert returned to the podium in 2025, setting a stage for a more concentrated return in 2026 where he'll race as a driver/owner with the #74 Team Japan Needs24 Toyota, run in partnership with RDV Competition, in V8GP and OPEN.
