Giovanni Cartechini was initially involved in the NASCAR Euro Series as representatives of his company HPM, who sponsored CAAL Racing. His involvement as sponsors got him hooked to the pure racing and in 2026, he is set to join the V8GP division as a driver with CAAL Racing themselves, driving their iconic #54 Ford Mustang.
