PK Carsport topped the NASCAR Euro Series regular season standings in the Endurance Teams Championship – Alumitec Racing emerges as the class of the field at the NASCAR GP Czech Republic

The unique 2026 Endurance Teams Championship in the NASCAR Euro Series is shaping up to be an instant classic. The rally-style format, where teammates share a single car to log laps and combined times over four races, is one of the most distinctive shootouts in all of motorsports. The car that turns the most laps in the shortest cumulative time across the race weekend takes the event victory, factoring in every green-to-checkered run in both V8GP and OPEN divisions. At the NASCAR GP Czech Republic, Alumitec Racing put on a clinic with Gianmarco Ercoli and Raphael Lessard behind the wheel of the #11 Ford Mustang, while the #24 PK Carsport Chevrolet of Vittorio Ghirelli and Thomas Dombrowski fought hard to defend their lead in the championship standings.
Ercoli and Lessard turned a total of 62 laps around Autodrom Most and captured three wins across the four races. It took the duo just 1:57:55.065 to complete the full distance. BS+BREMOTION came home in the runner-up spot with Garrett Lowe and Dominique Schaak sharing driving duties in the #99 Chevrolet Camaro. The German squad ended up 49.515 seconds behind Alumitec Racing while also finishing the full event distance. Joining them on the podium was Team Bleekemolen’s #72 Toyota with Michael Bleekemolen and Sandro Tavartkiladze strapped into the seat. Their gap to the race winners was 1:13.602 after a grueling 62 laps around the fast, technical road course at Most.
The #30 Rette Jones Racing by Hendriks Motorsport Ford, wheeled by Logan Bearden and Happinessa, narrowly missed out on a podium finish, trailing the leaders by 1:52.940. The final team to finish the Endurance Teams Championship on the lead lap was the No. 33 Speedhouse Ford of Brad Ranson and Henri Timonen, crossing the line 2:20.212 back. Championship leader PK Carsport followed in sixth. Ghirelli was caught a lap down after battling mechanical issues during Sunday’s race, preventing the #24 Chevrolet from completing the full event distance.
Despite the setback, the #24 PK Carsport crew still holds the overall Endurance Teams Championship lead with 139 points on their tally. The #50 Hendriks Motorsport Ford of Jordan O’Brien and Gil Linster, who salvaged seventh at Most following a Sunday throttle issue for the American driver, sits second just 13 markers back. Holding down third is the #99 BS+BREMOTION Chevrolet, trailing by only 18 points. The #30 Rette Jones Racing by Hendriks Motorsport Ford and the #54 CAAL Racing Camaro round out the top-5 heading into the 2026 Playoffs. The postseason kicks off with the Semi-Finals at Italy’s Autodromo di Vallelunga on September 19–20, followed by the Finals at Circuit Zolder in Belgium on October 17–18.
