The seventh edition of the NASCAR GP Czech Republic brought a record attendances to Autodrom Most – 46,600 fans visited the track to witness a weekend full of amazing on track action and off track festivals

The NASCAR GP Czech Republic continues to capture the hearts of the passionate Czech racing fans, who welcomed the addition of the NASCAR Euro Series with open hands from its first edition in 2019. Interest in American-style motorsport action has steadily improved from year to year and in 2026, the annual festival at Autodrom Most is drawing record numbers. With 46,600 fans in attendance over the course of three spectacular days, the 2026 NASCAR GP Czech Republic eclipsed the peak attendance numbers that were set in 2025, confirming the incredible attraction that pure racing generates.

Series organizers TEAM FJ worked in tandem with Autodrom Most and the FIA European Truck Racing Championship to deliver one of the best racing spectacle you can find in Europe. The thunder generated by European NASCAR’s V8 powered machines brought fans from all regions of the country to the picturesque circuit overlooked by the historic Hněvín Castle, setting the stage for an unforgettable weekend of action.

Record speeds and amazing races provided by gladiators from V8GP and OPEN headlined the return of the NASCAR Euro Series in Czechia. The brave competitors mastered the challenges presented by the twisty 4.212 kilometer layout that demands precise control, all designed to bring out a driver’s best abilities. Jordan O’Brien, Gianmarco Ercoli and Raphael Lessard took their turns to entertain the fans with their victories, but credit must also be given to Vittorio Ghirelli and Thomas Toffel, who retained the overall lead in the V8GP and OPEN standings, and Czech’s own Martin Doubek, who entertained the home crowd with some stellar drives at his playground.

Beyond the high stakes NASCAR spectacle that defined the last round of the 2026 regular season, fans also get to enjoy a blockbuster series of races by event partners FIA European Truck Racing Championship and support events Kampf der Zwerge and British Historic GT. A signature hallmark of the NASCAR Euro Series is its open paddock policy. Thousands of fans stepped directly into the garage area to watch mechanics fine-tune the cars, drivers dial in their race preparations, and organizers orchestrate the pure racing event behind the scenes.

Fans collected autographs, posed for photos with their heroes, and walked away with unforgettable memorabilia – from used tires and body panels to official merchandise and hero cards. Visitors mingled with the drivers and enjoyed behind-the-scenes access in the team hospitalities, where NASCAR Euro Series teams welcomed everyone with open arms. Off the track, the venue delivered a festival atmosphere with vibrant fan attractions, local cuisine, and prime trackside viewing. The weekend culminated in Victory Lane, set directly in the heart of the fan zone, where roaring crowds celebrated side-by-side with the race winners in front of the podium.

A major weekend highlight was Friday’s inaugural NASCAR Euro Series Run, where almost one thousand enthusiastic runners took to the twisty circuit on foot. Participants raced alongside several NASCAR Euro Series stars, including Ironman finisher Sebastiaan Bleekemolen, Robin Bleekemolen, Happinessa, Vittorio Ghirelli, Jordan O’Brien, Vinnie Meskelis and NASCAR Euro Series commentator Mark Werrell. The debut event was a massive success, delivering an unprecedented and energetic twist on the traditional track walk that is usually for drivers and teams only.

“The attendance of 46,600 is a great result and confirmation of how strong a place the Czech NASCAR & Truck GP has among fans. I am even more happy about the atmosphere of the entire weekend. People enjoyed the great races and the program in the area, and the Czech podiums on Sunday were the perfect finishing touch.
