After years of watching his father Michael and brother Sebastiaan compete with their family-run team in the NASCAR Euro Series, GT specialist Jeroen Bleekemolen is set to make his series debut. Following his niece Robin’s 2025 entry into the Rookie Challenge, which established three generations of the Dutch racing dynasty on track, the 44-year-old Aerdenhout native will officially join Team Bleekemolen. He is slated to drive the #72 Toyota Camry in the V8GP championship during the event at Le Castellet, France, on May 23-24.
Fresh from securing an SP10 class victory at the iconic 24h Nurburgring, the Dutch driver is preparing to transition from advanced race cars laden with electronics to a raw V8 powered machine without any electronic aids. Given his extensive experience in DTM, the Porsche Carrera Cup, and various GT categories, he will certainly be a standout competitor in the V8GP championship. At Circuit Paul Ricard – a new addition to the official European NASCAR calendar – he is set to challenge the top tier of European NASCAR talent.
“It’s great to make my debut in this series with my whole family. I have raced all over the world and this is another great addition to my resume! Let’s go racing, I can’t wait,” stated the professional competitor, whose career on the premier global racing circuit has spanned more than twenty years. In previous years, Jeroen Bleekemolen was a frequent visitor to the NASCAR Euro Series paddock, where he supported his father and brother as they competed for Team Bleekemolen.
Scheduled for May 23-24 at Le Castellet, the 2026 NASCAR GP France marks a historic homecoming for the NASCAR Euro Series in its country of origin. The legendary former Formula One venue will provide the backdrop for an exceptional race weekend featuring international talent. The event’s lineup has been further bolstered by the addition of a premier Dutch driver, who is poised to be a major contender as he battles for the lead in his two V8GP races throughout the weekend.
