In a landmark moment for global motorsport, the NASCAR Euro Series officially returns to France for the first time since 2018. This high-stakes homecoming brings the continent’s premier driving talent to the legendary Circuit Paul Ricard, the crown jewel of French racing, known for its heritage in Formula One. As the championship is headquartered in France, the home nation of TEAM FJ – the founders, promoters, and owners of NASCAR in Europe – this event represents a foundational return to the championship’s birthplace, blending elite American-style competition with the sophisticated prestige of a world-class French venue. The races will take place on May 23-24, 2026.
The grid’s premier athletes are prepared to tackle the technical sophistication of Le Castellet, where 400-horsepower V8 engines will meet the high-performance demands of an FIA Grade 1 circuit. Local standout Paul Jouffreau is ready to lead the charge, stating: “It will be so nice to be in front of a French public; it will be really exciting for me. I hope we can achieve some good results. In the past, when there was a new track, I was pretty strong on it, so I will adapt. We will give 100% of what we can give.” Between races, the French star competed in the virtual 24 Hours of Nurburgring. His team secured a third-place finish in iRacing’s top split.

This emotional connection to the venue is shared by his peers, as the series returns to a market hungry for authentic, high-octane entertainment. “I’m pumped because Paul Ricard is important to me, especially because of the fans and my family,” added Florian Richard, emphasizing the massive public interest surrounding the event. For international challengers, the technical challenge of the Mistral Straight remains the priority. “Paul Ricard is a great track. It’s new for NASCAR and new for everyone, so we will try to adapt quickly there and be in front as soon as possible,” noted Sandro Tavartkiladze.
From a commercial perspective, this Grand Prix offers an unparalleled platform for B2B activation and hospitality. By moving away from digital aids and prioritizing pure, mechanical performance, the series offers a visceral alternative to modern motorsports disciplines. This strategic return to France allows corporate partners to engage with an affluent, passionate demographic at one of the world’s most recognizable sporting landmarks. Be part of the journey as the most dominant touring series on the continent reclaims its home turf. The roar of the engines returns to France!
