Final wave of entries brings together experienced stars, rising talents and Recruitment Test alumni – V8GP, OPEN and Rookie Challenge fields reach full strength ahead of season opener

The 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season continues to take shape with the confirmation of the final group of drivers completing the grid across the V8GP, OPEN and Rookie Challenge divisions. The latest additions underline the championship’s unique mix of experience, talent and international diversity, reinforcing its position as the top NASCAR competition outside of the Americas.

V8GP: Experience and star power headline the top division

The V8GP field is further strengthened by a combination of high-profile names and team owners stepping into competition.

Former Formula 1 driver and long-time NASCAR Euro Series team owner Alex Caffi will return to the wheel of the #5 Academy / Caffi Motorsport Ford Mustang, bringing decades of top-level experience to the grid.

At Lux Motorsport, Stefano Attianese will take on the V8GP challenge in the #20 car, while Club Motorsport team owner Fabrio Armetta will compete in the #22 Chevrolet, adding another experienced figure to the championship.

2018 OPEN Champion Ulysse Delsaux will also join the V8GP field, taking the wheel of the #55 Club Motorsport Chevrolet and bringing proven winning experience to the top division.

Team Bleekemolen will once again showcase its strength with Sebastiaan Bleekemolen leading the Dutch powerhouse’s V8GP effort in the #69 Toyota, while CAAL Racing adds a unique profile to the field with French content creator Romain Monti stepping up to the top division in the #73 Chevrolet.

OPEN: Title contenders and specialists ready to shine

The OPEN division continues to deliver a highly competitive field blending proven race winners and exciting newcomers.

Lux Motorsport will field Recruitment Test graduate Ossi Pohjanharju in the #20 car, while Italian hillclimb standout Francesco Leogrande joins the team’s #21 entry, bringing a wealth of motorsport experience from a different discipline.

Hendriks Motorsport will rely on the consistency and experience of Luxembourg veteran Gil Linster, who returns in the #50 car with clear ambitions to fight for the title.

Club Motorsport will also be represented in the OPEN category by Italian driver Giovanni Faraonio, who will compete in selected events with the #55 Chevrolet.

Team Bleekemolen completes its strong multi-car lineup with Melvin de Groot, the all-time leader in Legend Trophy victories, continuing his successful journey in the #69 Toyota.

Rookie Challenge: The future of the NASCAR Euro Series

The Rookie Challenge once again proves to be a key pillar of the NASCAR Euro Series ladder system, welcoming a new generation of drivers from diverse backgrounds.

Lux Motorsport will field Ofek Elyahu in the #20 car, while Nicole Davidson returns to the championship in the #21 entry, continuing her development in the series.

Rette Jones Racing by Hendriks Motorsports introduces Swiss debutant Maral Ghazarian in the #30 car, adding another international profile to the Rookie field.

Team Bleekemolen will see the debut of Robin Bleekemolen, continuing the family legacy in the #69 Toyota.

CAAL Racing will field Recruitment Test graduate Jacob Parry in the #73 Chevrolet, while Bremotion completes the lineup with another Recruitment Test alumni, Maximilian Seth, in the #77 Chevrolet.

Club Motorsport will also field Jens Beassart in the Rookie Challenge, competing with the #55 Chevrolet.

With the final drivers now confirmed, the NASCAR Euro Series once again demonstrates its ability to combine elite-level competition with a clear pathway for emerging talents. From experienced professionals and team owners to young prospects taking their first steps in NASCAR racing, the 2026 grid reflects the championship’s “Pure Racing” DNA and its continued growth on the international stage.

All eyes now turn to the season opener at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, where the full field will take to the track for the first time in what promises to be another spectacular year of NASCAR Euro Series action.
