The powerhouse Speedhouse organization is officially reloading for 2026. Team owner Lucas Lasserre announced today the signing of French standout Yann Cristovao to pilot the team’s entry in the Rookie Challenge Division.
The move keeps a winning formula in place for the Southwest France-based squad. Coming off a dominant 2025 season where Speedhouse swept the Rookie title and placed three drivers in the top four, Lasserre is leaning on a familiar face to keep the momentum high.
“I’ve known Yann for a few years through the regional karting ranks,” Lasserre said. “He is a very talented driver with the right attitude. I am convinced our process is the best way to build the next champion.”

For Cristovao, the jump to his second season in a premier European series now under the guidance of one of the most respected names in the garage represents a major career milestone.
Cristovao made his Rookie Challenge debut in 2025 and just missed out on a top-5 finish in the overall standings. With Lasserre’s expert guidance and a partnership with experienced teammates Andreas Kuchelbacher and Nuno Caetano, the Frenchman is ready to step up his game and fight for the title in 2026.
“I am extremely motivated and convinced we will have an excellent year together,” Cristovao said. “The Speedhouse framework is professional but maintains a great atmosphere. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
