Alumitec Racing today announced a monumental strategic pivot, relocating its primary racing operations from Italy to a state-of-the-art engineering center in Vulaines-sur-Seine. This transition serves as the cornerstone of the team’s huge expansion within the NASCAR Euro Series, headlined by the official entry of a two-car powerhouse assault for the 2026 championship season.
Located in the prestigious outskirts of Paris, the new Alumitec Racing headquarters represents a significant capital investment in high-performance infrastructure. The facility has been engineered to bridge the gap between traditional racing grit and the sophisticated precision of the global motorsport elite. By centralizing operations in France, Alumitec Racing establishes a dedicated hub for its operations including an own dyno to test the sealed V8 engines.
The team wants to secure six NASCAR mandatory Crate 604 engines for the upcoming campaign, allowing for rigorous horsepower validation, wear analysis, and circuit-specific calibration to ensure maximum output within strict series tolerances.

To spearhead this technical evolution, Alumitec Racing has appointed legendary series veteran Romain Iannetta as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Iannetta brings an unparalleled pedigree to the organization, having been a foundational pillar of the championship’s top-tier PRO Division for over a decade.
His resume reflects a career defined by consistency and elite-level performance, including a career-best third-place finish in the 2015 championship and three additional top-5 season rankings.
As a proven winner with victories at iconic venues such as Brands Hatch, Spa-Francorchamps, and Aragon, Iannetta provides the team with a wealth of technical and competitive data. With 13 career podiums and 25 Top-5 finishes, his transition into the executive suite ensures that Alumitec Racing’s operational strategy is guided by a winner’s perspective. His recent competitive outings, including a standout fourth-place finish in Valencia, prove that his understanding of modern vehicle dynamics remains at the highest level.

“This relocation is a decisive step for the organization,” stated Alain Lord Mounir, Team Principal and Chief Executive of Alumitec Racing. “By integrating our own simulation and engine testing capabilities, we are building a structure capable of competing for wins and championships on the grandest stage of European motorsport. The 2026 season marks our transition from competitors to title contenders.”
“Romain brings a rare combination of technical depth, on-track experience and leadership. His appointment supports our objective of building a professional, performance-driven organisation capable of competing at the highest level.”
The move to France is not merely a logistical shift but a calculated commercial statement. By deploying a two-car entry, Alumitec Racing doubles its data acquisition capabilities and provides a broader platform for corporate partners looking to capitalize on the prestige and high-octane visibility of the NASCAR Euro Series.
The team remains committed to a philosophy of data-driven performance, utilizing in-house acquisition systems and detailed horsepower monitoring to ensure every mechanical adjustment is backed by empirical evidence. With a veteran leader in the front office and a cutting-edge facility at its disposal, Alumitec Racing enters the 2026 season as a refined, sophisticated force ready to challenge the status quo.
