A thrilling new entry is poised to electrify the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series grid: Kolkhi GRT, the Georgian-flagged racing team, will unleash the #8 car for a familiar face in the PRO division, Davit Kajaia, and a promising new female contender in OPEN, Mariam Davitidze. The two Georgian aces are strapped in and ready to battle for silverware, as Kajaia aims to defend the Challenger Trophy he clinched in 2025, while rookie sensation Davitidze has her sights firmly set on capturing the coveted Lady Trophy.

Kajaia joined the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season with Team Georgia and immediately found his way into the winner’s circle. He roared to three Challenger Trophy victories and topped the class classification at the conclusion of a thrilling campaign. Now, he’s back, focused on defending his crown and taking the next big step. After finishing inside the top-10 on three occasions, Kajaia is looking to become a consistent threat, aiming for regular top-5 finishes and more Challenger Trophy race wins.
“I am excited to represent the first-ever Georgian Racing Team, Kolkhi GRT, in the NASCAR Euro Series,” Kajaia stated. “I really enjoyed last year in the championship and hope to have just as much fun this year. Let’s go racing!”
Davitidze is a fresh face bringing speed and excitement to the NASCAR Euro Series, and a formidable addition to the Lady Trophy battle. The 21-year-old business and management student honed her motorsport skills in her home country and is now ready to attack the international stage by joining the Kolkhi GRT team for the OPEN championship. This humble, fast-paced lady has a clear objective: she intends to win the Lady Trophy in her rookie season.

“I hereby confirm my participation in the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season,” said Davitidze, who enjoys traveling, playing video games, and working out at the gym. “I am a 21-year-old female driver and the number one female racer from Georgia. I am very happy and proud to represent my country and the Kolkhi GRT team, and I look forward to competing with passion and the clear goal of winning. I am thrilled to be the first female from my country to take part in such a big championship, and I am eager to win the Lady Trophy.”
Kolkhi GRT’s Erekle Nasidze added: “Today marks the opening of a new chapter not just for our team, but for Georgian sport. Kolkhi GRT was born from a desire to show the world that Georgian motorsport has the talent, the engineering, and the heart to compete with the best in Europe. We are entering the NASCAR Euro Series with a clear purpose: to contend for podiums and to inspire the next generation of drivers back home. The engines are fired, the team is ready, and we are honored to carry the Georgian flag at circuits across the continent. This is only the beginning.”
Kolkhi GRT is fueled up and ready to hoist the Georgian flags high in the NASCAR Euro Series. With two very compelling contenders from their homeland, the team is geared up to leave its mark on the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season. The green flag drops for the first race weekend on April 18-19 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.
