With over 100 OPEN races and more than 70 PRO starts, Martin Doubek stands as one of the most seasoned drivers in the NASCAR Euro Series. The 30-year-old ace has been a fixture in the championship since 2015, with only two active drivers boasting a longer tenure in European NASCAR racing than the Czech hero: Fabrizio Armetta (2013) and Gianmarco Ercoli (2014). Despite over a decade in the NASCAR Euro Series, the Litomysl native’s hunger for victory remains insatiable. He’s more driven than ever to chase wins and titles. That’s why Doubek has extended his commitment with Hendriks Motorsport through 2026, where he’ll continue to pilot the #7 Ford Mustang.
“I’m thrilled to be back in the NASCAR Euro Series,” Doubek stated regarding his contract extension. “This will be my 12th season, and of course, I’m gunning for more titles and wins. Hendriks Motorsport is absolutely the best team I could ask for. I really want to make my team boss, Roy Hendriks, proud.” With two OPEN championship victories in 2021 and 2024, Doubek has been a key player in the immense success of Hendriks Motorsport, one of the most decorated teams in NASCAR Euro Series history. With Doubek now confirmed, the Dutch powerhouse is locked in and ready to chase down more trophies and titles.
Doubek, the winningest driver in the OPEN championship with 17 victories, finished as runner-up in the 2025 season behind Thomas Krasonis. He battled hard all season long to defend his title, and while the mission ultimately fell short, it only ignited a fiercer fire within Doubek. He’s determined to come back stronger and bring the championship trophy back to Czechia. “I’m confirmed until 2058,” Doubek joked, a testament to his deep love for the NASCAR Euro Series car, the paddock, and the fierce competition in Europe’s premier touring car series.
The Litomysl native is locked in for the PRO series, but he’s aiming to pull double duty, eyeing a spot in OPEN as well. The final confirmation of that decision will come during the off-season.
Doubek has carved out some truly memorable moments in the NASCAR Euro Series history books, notably becoming the only two-time OPEN champion to date. He first hit the track at Raceway Venray, opting for the oval before tackling a road course. He even gave Czech President Petr Pavel some thrilling taxi rides at his home track, Autodrom Most, and then coached the politician when Pavel got behind the wheel himself. Doubek is a guarantee for the highlight reels, and he’ll be back in 2026, not just for kicks, but to win and hoist that big trophy … again!
