The Master Trophy saw five different drivers finish in the podium positions at Autodrom Most – Jordan O’Brien and Thomas Dombrowski won the battles in Rounds 7 and 8
- Jordan O’Brien’s epic drive gave the American his first Master Trophy win
- Thomas Dombrowski bounced back to extend his class lead
- Sandro Tavartkiladze, Valerio Marzi, and Bruno Mulders brought home trophies
All Trophy battles in the 2025 NASCAR GP Czech Republic were fierce and competitive, but none were as unpredictable as the Master Trophy classifications in the NASCAR Euro Series OPEN division. Five different drivers made it onto the Master Trophy podium at Autodrom Most with Round 7 winner Jordan O’Brien being the only one to finish top-3 in the special classification twice. Thomas Dombrowski extended his overall points lead with his own win in Round 8 with Sandro Tavartkiladze, who took his first overall podium, Valerio Marzi and Bruno Mulders also securing their own prizes.

O’Brien was the main talking point from the Master Trophy after a highlight reel weekend for the American sensation. The driver of the #22 Club Competition Chevrolet Camaro took advantage of a first lap incident on Saturday to storm his way to an unlikely lead from ninth on the grid and crossed the line in first position. A penalty denied O’Brien from his first overall victory, but he was still able to win the Master Trophy classification for aspiring drivers.
The Las Vegas resident came close to sweeping the weekend, but a costly spin on Sunday handed over the Round 8 win to the class standings leader Dombrowski. Dombrowski had a challenging Round 7 as problems in his #24 PK Carsport Camaro left him unable to fight for the top positions. Once the Belgian team’s mechanics solved the issues, the Frenchman was on fire and stayed consistent to bring home first place in fourth overall.

O’Brien finished right behind Dombrowski to claim runner-up in Round 8. Second position in Round 7 belonged to Georgian driver Tavartkiladze, who made history as the first competitor from Georgia to finish on the overall podium in NASCAR Euro Series. Club Competition completed a very successful day on Saturday with Marzi also finishing inside the Master Trophy podium in sixth overall. Team Bleekemolen’s Mulders had major setbacks with his crash in Round 7 and pre-race issues in Round 8, but the talented Dutchman overtook many drivers to complete the Master Trophy podium on Sunday.
Dombrowski therefore will enter the Playoffs in Germany and Belgium as the Master Trophy leader once each driver’s worst results were dropped. With 222 points, the Frenchman holds a seven point lead to Tavartkiladze with Mulders only 18 points behind in third. Florian Richard and Dominique Schaak complete the top-5 with Andres Beers, Valentino Gambarotto, O’Brien, Marzi, Mario Ercoli, Mike Wise, Davide Frulio, Matthew Ellis and Gordon Barnes rounding out the class standings.
As one of the most unpredictable classifications in the NASCAR Euro Series, the Master Trophy will be a must watch spectacle for the fans in Germany when EuroNASCAR visits Motorsport Arena Oschersleben for the start of the Playoffs on 20-21 September. All qualifying and races from the EuroNASCAR Playoffs will be broadcast on the official EuroNASCAR YouTube channel and TV channels around the world.
