Strong results from the #69 Team Bleekemolen entry handed the Dutch outfit their first Endurance Teams win in 2025 – With a valiant team work effort, PK Carsport takes over the points lead
- Team Bleekemolen is the most consistent team in the UK
- PK Carsport put up an incredible performance to finish runner-up
- The Belgian team leads the overall standings ahead of the Dutch outfit
Four exciting races in the 2025 NASCAR GP UK culminated in the crowning of a first-time winner in the Endurance Teams Championship. Team Bleekemolen proved to be the most consistent squad at Brands Hatch, thanks to four excellent results from Sebastiaan Bleekemolen and Melvin de Groot in the #69 Toyota Camry. The Dutch team therefore becomes the new closest rival for Belgian outfit PK Carsport, who rebuilt the #24 Chevrolet Camaro overnight and put up a fantastic effort to take over first place in the overall standings.
The highlight from Team Bleekemolen came from de Groot, who claimed his maiden OPEN victory in torrential rain in Round 5. But it’s not just de Groot who made the Endurance Teams win happen: Bleekemolen scored two top-10 finishes and was one of the front runners of the PRO division. Their efforts led to a combined time of 3:04:09.961, securing the Dutch team the overall win by 23 seconds over PK Carsport.

PK Carsport’s story from Brands Hatch was a tale of resilience in the face of a disaster. The #24 Chevrolet Camaro was destroyed after Thomas Dombrowski’s scary crash in Friday practice. The Belgian team assessed the damage and figured that they could rebuild the #24 car overnight. Come Saturday morning, the Camaro was as good as new, as showcased by the strong results that Vittorio Ghirelli achieved with his two runner-up finishes that moved the Italian to the lead in the PRO standings.
Hendriks Motorsport enjoyed good fortunes with the #7 Ford Mustang team. Martin Doubek’s victory in OPEN Round 6 helped push the Dutch powerhouse to the podium ahead of NASCAR GP UK’s big surprise: British team Lux Motorsport. Lux, with their pink #21 Chevrolet Camaro, grabbed an impressive fourth place thanks to Jack Davidson and Matthew Ellis’ career best weekends. Davidson claimed his first PRO podium in front of his home crowd, while Ellis led his first laps in treacherous conditions.
Consistent finishes from Davit Kajaia and Sandro Tavartkiladze allowed Team Georgia by RDV Competition to complete the top-5 ahead of Speedhouse’s #33 team. Club Competition’s #22 entry and Bremotion’s #99 team came home in seventh and eighth ahead of Alumitec Racing’s #11, which took two wins in PRO with Gianmarco Ercoli. Speedhouse’s #64 team round out the top-10 positions.

PK Carsport’s “never give up” attitude enabled the #24 team to move to the overall lead of the Endurance Teams standings with 109 points. Team Bleekemolen’s victory placed them as the closest challenger, with the #69 entry trailing by just 3 points. RDV Competition’s #3 Ford Mustang struggled with engine issues and lost important points, but they are still only 14 points away from PK Carsport with three rounds still to be contested in the 2025 season.
Bremotion’s #99 team and Team Georgia complete the current overall top-5 with 89 and 85 points scored. PK Carsport’s #13 entry, Alumitec Racing, Hendriks Motorsport’s #7 outfit, Rette Jones Racing’s #30 Mustang and Speedhouse’s #64 team fill out the top-10, with only 34 points separating them from the leader.
The action from the Endurance Teams Championship will be resumed when NASCAR Euro Series returns to Autodrom Most for the 2025 edition of NASCAR GP Czech Republic on 30-31 August.
