Oval GP at Raceway Venray canceled

Nascar Euro Series 2025 New Calendar V2

Raceway Venray can’t get the FIA track homologation completed in time – The June 28-29 Oval GP Netherlands will not take place

  • The June 28-29 Oval GP Netherlands at Raceway Venray is canceled
  • Raceway Venray can’t finalize the FIA homologation of the track in time for the event
  • After the NASCAR GP UK at Brands Hatch, the season will resume at Most in August

The NASCAR Euro Series announces that the Oval GP, originally scheduled for June 28-29, 2025, at Raceway Venray will not take place.

Due to the fact that Raceway Venray could not complete the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) international homologation process in time — particularly with respect to the specific technical and safety assessments required for oval circuits — the event cannot be held as scheduled.

As a result, the event is officially canceled and will not be replaced on the calendar.

“This is disappointing news for us,” explains NASCAR Europe President – CEO Jerome Galpin. “To be part of the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series calendar, Raceway Venray committed to engage the FIA homologation process in the autumn of 2024 and get it on time before the event. We were informed by the FIA that this will not happen and that the event can not be considered for the 2025 series calendar, nor for any sporting classifications. We must then follow instructions from the FIA.”

After the June 8-9 NASCAR GP UK at Brands Hatch, the championship will resume with the NASCAR GP Czech Republic, scheduled for August 30-31, 2025, at Autodrom Most.
