Has Yvan Muller tasted blood after his championship debut in the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain? It seems so, but his intentions to also compete in the NASCAR GP Italy at the Autodromo di Vallelunga on May 17-18 are a little different from what fans might think, as the French touring car legend returns to the wheel of the #34 Chevrolet Camaro. “The reason I decided to race at Vallelunga is that our pace at Valencia wasn’t good enough,” Muller revealed. “Our speed, our performance wasn’t good enough. I want to compete at Vallelunga to continue to improve the car. I discovered the car in Valencia and now I have a better idea of what we need to do with the car. That’s why I want to confirm at Vallelunga if the direction we are going is good or not.”

Muller started the 2025 season with a bang. The 55-year-old four-time World Touring Car Champion finished on the podium in his first race in Spain and scored another top-5 result with a fourth-place finish on Sunday. He’s now fourth in the standings, just eight points behind championship leader Thomas Krasonis. Muller showed his well-known skills and impressed with exciting battles against Vittorio Ghirelli and Paul Jouffreau. In old-school style, Muller drifted, went side-by-side with his competitors and put on an outstanding show for fans around the world.

A popular driver around the world, Muller’s decision to compete in the NASCAR Euro Series at the Autodromo di Vallelunga not only as a team owner but also as a PRO driver is sure to excite the Italian tifosi who will gather at the track near Rome to watch Muller compete against the best NASCAR drivers in Europe. Qualifying and all races will be broadcast live on EuroNASCAR’s YouTube channel and on many TV networks around the world. Don’t miss a single lap and keep an eye on M Racing’s #34 Chevrolet Camaro.
