Mario Ercoli joins Lux Motorsport for the 2025 EuroNASCAR season – The Davidson siblings – Jack and Nicole – are set to compete in PRO and Rookie Challenge

Lux Motorsport has unveiled their full driver lineup for the #21 Chevrolet Camaro in the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season. Italian driver Mario Ercoli will join the team in the OPEN division, sharing the car with Jack Davidson, who will make the step to the PRO category. In addition, Jack’s sister Nicole Davidson will make her EuroNASCAR debut by competing in the Rookie Challenge, also behind the wheel of the #21 Chevrolet.
The move marks another step forward for Lux Motorsport as the team continues to develop talent across all divisions of the NASCAR Euro Series. The Davidson siblings will become the first brother-sister duo to represent the same team across different divisions, while Ercoli is preparing for his second full campaign in NASCAR in Europe.
The 17-year-old Ercoli is eager to take on this new challenge in his racing career. After gaining experience in karting and national-level competitions, the Italian driver is ready to make his mark on the international stage of EuroNASCAR. He already raced in the series in 2023 part-time and 2024 full-time and wants to become a contender for podiums an race wins.
“I’m very excited to be part of Lux Motorsport this season,” said Ercoli. “It’s a new challenge for me, and obviously it’s an opportunity to grow as a driver and as a person. I want to thank LUX Motorsport and the NASCAR Euro Series organization for the opportunity. I can’t wait for Valencia!”
Nicole Davidson, who will make her debut in the Rookie Challenge, will write her own chapter in the family’s EuroNASCAR legacy. “I am very excited to join the NASCAR Euro Series this year,” said Nicole Davidson, the horsewoman who coined the slogan “from one horsepower to another”. “I go to most of the races with my brother, so it will be good to be part of the action and not just a spectator. The car is amazing. I’ve done laps in it at Knockhill and I’ve been on the sim trying to learn the Ricardo Tormo circuit, so we’ll see what I remember.
“It is such a privilege to be part of Lux Motorsport, our family team alongside my brother and I will be going from one horsepower to another, from the horses I train to jump to the roaring horsepower of NASCAR. Hopefully I can get a few podiums throughout the year. Family is so important, my brother and I support each other, my mom and dad have been taking us to Daytona since I can remember, and our family team brings the spirit of America to Europe.
The 2025 season opener will take place on April 12-13 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. All races will be broadcast live on the EuroNASCAR YouTube channel and plenty of TV networks from all around the world. After becoming the first Brit to win a EuroNASCAR race – that was in Brands Hatch 2024 – the Davidson family and the team’s drivers strive for even more success.
