RDV Competition has found the first piece of the puzzle for the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season. Paul Jouffreau signed the contract for the upcoming PRO championship at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain – home of the April 12-13 season opener. With his close ties to the track, the Spanish venue was the perfect place for Jouffreau to sign the papers with RDV Competition team boss Franck Violas. The 2024 PRO runner-up and 2023 OPEN champion wants to win the championship and inscribe his name in the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina.

At the age of 21, Jouffreau already has four PRO wins under his belt. In 2024, he was the runner-up in the overall standings after a last-lap pass on 2023 PRO champion Gianmarco Ercoli at Circuit Zolder, but the Frenchman was edged out by Vittorio Ghirelli. In 2025, the 2024 Junior Trophy winner wants to take the final step, beat the competition and become Europe’s NASCAR champion after seven thrilling events at some of the best tracks on the Old Continent.
“I am very happy to continue with RDV Competition,” said Jouffreau. “For me, it’s the best team in the championship and we’ve already shown what we’re capable of. Since we’ve been together, we’ve won the team championship every year. The only thing missing is the PRO title and that’s what we’re aiming for this year. We know what we missed last season and where I need to improve.”
Violas is also happy to have Jouffreau back in his lineup. “I’m proud to lead my team back to the grid of the NASCAR Euro Series that I love so much,” said the team principal. “It’s our sporting point of view of course, but also on a technical side it’s part of RDV Competition’s DNA: pure racing, pure technical. We really want to support a young 21-year-old driver with incredible skills. He was runner-up with us last year.”
“Paul is an RDV Competition product and we have all given him 100% and he gives it back to us on the track,” continued Violas. “He has developed a lot in two years with us. He was champion in OPEN, Junior Trophy winner in PRO. So far we have missed the step to the top, but we will do it together. We have youth at the wheel and experience in the team. We will have a strong preparation. That is our cocktail for 2025. We will soon announce the rest of our EuroNASCAR team.”
Jouffreau and RDV Competition, it’s a winning combination. All races of the #3 Ford Mustang will be streamed live on EuroNASCAR’s YouTube channel and on numerous television networks around the world. Follow the journey of the young Frenchman as he impresses with his mature yet emotional character. One thing is for sure: Jouffreau will be fast again and tempers may flare, but that is one of the most important ingredients in the pure racing of the NASCAR Euro Series.
