Thomas Krasonis and Marko Stipp Motorsport tested at Autodrom Most ahead of the regular season finale – Four-time Champion Alon Day coached the Greek youngster
Marko Stipp Motorsport traveled to Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic to test the No. 46 Chevrolet Camaro ahead of the regular season finale on August 31-September 1. Thomas Krasonis ran many laps to find the last tenth of a second on the challenging track that will host the fifth race weekend of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season. Four-time champion Alon Day joined the Greek driver to coach him and help the team set up the car for the important event in the Czech Republic.

“The test went very well,” said Krasonis after turning laps during the official track day. “We improved a lot compared to the pace we had here last year. We fine-tuned the setup of the car with the help of the Marko Stipp Motorsport team. Alon Day was here as well as Marco, Sven, Ole, Marciello and Chris and Marko Stipp of course to get the most out of the car. They all helped me to prepare as well as possible for the upcoming race. All in all it was a good day of testing and we managed to get some good results.”
Krasonis is doing double duty in the 2024 NWES season in both championships. He earned his first EuroNASCAR podium at Brands Hatch and secured his first ever pole position for Sunday’s race. In the overall EuroNASCAR 2 standings, the Athenian is fifth, just 48 points behind championship leader Martin Doubek. After the races at Autodrom Most, all drivers will drop their worst points finish of the regular season and then head to the double-point playoffs at Oschersleben and Zolder.
