Thomas Krasonis will expand his campaign in the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series by competing in both championships – EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 – after extending his contract with Marko Stipp Motorsport. The 22-year-old Greek is a professional racer who is fully committed to a career in motorsports and wants to set an example for young drivers to show them that they can achieve their goals by working hard and never giving up, even when times are tough.

“My daily life is quite simple: I follow my routine, which consists of going to the gym to be physically prepared for racing and working in my office to be successful on the business side of my job.” The Athenian racer leaves nothing to chance, because working meticulously on both skills and acquiring the necessary partners to race is the only way to make a career in the highly competitive field of motorsports. Dedication and passion drive Krasonis to compete at the highest level. His dream is to make a racing career in NASCAR in the USA and he will never give up on this goal.

Sports play an important role in Krasonis’ life: “My favorite hobby is watching sports. I basically follow everything from NASCAR to basketball and MotoGP.” Krasonis is not a man of big words, but he’s fully focused on maximizing his performance on the track. The Greek is always open to meeting his fans and spending time with the passionate NASCAR followers from all over Europe. “Calm, fast and competitive” are the words Krasonis uses to describe himself as a race driver.

“Never stop chasing your dreams,” is the 22-year-old’s advice to young drivers from around the world who want to make a career in racing. Those dreams are the source of motivation, passion and the will to work every hour to make the right decisions. Like any young kid, Krasonis started racing early, but when he got his driving license, he also got his first road car to travel around his home country.

“Now I drive a Mazda 3 MPS,” he explained. “My first car was a Ford Fiesta that I got from a friend who didn’t want to drive it anymore. So I took it as soon as I got my license. My dad promised me a brand new car when the Fiesta would stop working, but the car never broke down,” he laughed. “I kept it for three years until my dad decided it was time to get me a new car.”

Krasonis will be competing for titles, trophies and race wins in the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season. With Marko Stipp Motorsport, he has an experienced German organization working on his #46 Chevrolet Camaro. The 2024 season kicks off April 13-14 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. All races will be broadcast live on EuroNASCAR’s YouTube channel and on several television networks around the world.
