The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series heads to the Autodrom Most, close to the Czech Republic’s capital city of Prague, on August 26-27 for the fourth edition of the Autodrom Most NASCAR Fest. One of the most popular events on the schedule, it promises another unique show with fantastic action on and off the track. With four races on the 4.212 kilometer track, Europe’s best NASCAR drivers will compete in the “Pure Racing” style of the best touring car series in the old continent. Buckle up as we provide you with all the important information about the 2023 NASCAR GP Czech Republic.
The Autodrom Most is located approximately 100 kilometers north west of the Czech Republic’s capital of Prague and close to the German border. Opened in 1983 the track was developed decade by decade and now consists of 21 turns. A high-speed part is combined with some tricky low-speed sections and therefore a driver needs to be a true all-rounder to master this unique race track. With Prague so close by, the track is the perfect solution to mix a trip to the Czech Republic’s capital with some great racing.
After the season opener at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Rounds 3 and 4 at the Indy Circuit of Brands Hatch and Rounds 5 and 6 in Vallelunga, both championships will continue with Rounds 7 and 8. In EuroNASCAR PRO, CAAL Racing star Gianmarco Ercoli leads the championship strong of three race wins in the UK and Italy. Valencia race winner Lucas Lasserre and two-time champion Anthony Kumpen round out the top-3, while Vittorio Ghirelli and Marc Goossens complete the top-5. In EuroNASCAR 2, Vladimiros Tziortzis made the perfect sweep in Spain and UK to lead by 13 points from 2022 runner-up Alberto Naska, who took his first victory of the season in Italy. The duo is followed by first-time winner Paul Jouffreau, Gil Linster and Thomas Dombrowski. The Club Challenge will also be back in action for Round 3 on Friday.
