EuroNASCAR teams announce latest addition to their line-ups for the NASCAR GP Spain in Valencia

The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series announced a number of drivers over the winter, and with the May 6-7 season opener at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia quickly approaching, the final pieces of the starting grid fell into place. A total of 55 drivers will compete in the first NASCAR GP of the season – 28 in EuroNASCAR PRO, 27 drivers in EuroNASCAR 2 – while ten drivers were announced for the Club Challenge regularity test event. Who are the latest additions to the 2023 NWES grid?

Academy / Alex Caffi Motorsport already confirmed Vladimiros Tziortzis for EuroNASCAR PRO in late 2022, but now the Cypriot will pull double duties by also joining the EuroNASCAR 2 grid in Valencia. The second car of the Italian-Monegasque joint venture will be driven by EuroNASCAR 2 race winner Advait Deodhar, who will take the step into EuroNASCAR PRO, and team owner Federico Monti in the second division. With these announcements, Academy / Alex Caffi Motorsport confirmed its two-car entry for the 2023 season.

RDV Competition will field a second car for Yann Schar, who will compete for the Legend Trophy and Rookie Trophy in EuroNASCAR 2 as well as for the overall win in the Club Challenge. The Frenchman will be at the wheel of the #4 car of the French team led by Franck Violas. Vict Motorsport from Italy has confirmed two cars: Dario Caso will drive the #8 Chevrolet in EuroNASCAR PRO, teaming up with Paolo Valeri. In the #9 Camaro, Caso will race in EuroNASCAR 2 in Valencia, while Simone Laureti will take on the NWES elite on his return to the championship.

Double V Racing from Italy has found its EuroNASCAR PRO driver in Stefano Attianese, while British racer Jack Davidson will join Marko Stipp Motorsport in EuroNASCAR 2 and Yevgen Sokolovskiy returns to the team in EuroNASCAR PRO. The Club Motorsport has entered two cars, the #55 Camaro for Fabrizio Armetta in EuroNASCAR PRO and the #65 Chevrolet for Riccardo Romagnoli, who’ll be competing in both championships. Another driver taking on two championships is Thomas Dombrowski in the #66 Team Bleekemolen Ford Mustang. Christoph Lenz will return to Racingfuel Motorsport in EuroNASCAR PRO.

Bulgarian Team, a newcomer to the NWES grid, will field the #90 Chevrolet Camaro for Michaela Dorcikova in EuroNASCAR PRO and Gino Miedico in EuroNASCAR 2. A total of 30 cars will take to the track when the 2023 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series kicks off at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain on May 6-7.
