British race car driver and former EuroNASCAR PRO contestant Shaun Hollamby will drive the #77 Chevrolet Camaro of the Austrian team DF1 Racing in the EuroNASCAR 2 Championship at Brands Hatch. Former Memphis Racing driver Alexander Graff from Sweden will join Ian Eric Waden on the #44 Camaro for the remainder of the season.
Hollamby, who debuted in the EuroNASCAR in 2019, will return to the series for his home race. “I’m super excited to be on the grid with DF1 Racing for the American SpeedFest at Brands Hatch. I’m looking forward to working with my teammate Marc Goossens and all the team,” Hollamby said. “It will be great to race again in the EuroNASCAR in front of the British crowd.”
Alexander Graff is the second driver to return to the EuroNASCAR at Brands Hatch. “It feels great to be back in the EuroNASCAR, especially with such a great team as DF1 Racing and to have Ian Eric Waden as my teammate!”, Graff said. “I haven’t driven a single meter in NASCAR since the finale at Zolder 2019. So I’ll have a very busy Friday at Brands Hatch to get comfortable with the car, the team and the track. But I’m looking forward to that challenge!”
“The goal this weekend will be to score as good results as possible and to get to know everyone in the team and work for the future.” Unlike Hollamby, Graff will join DF1 Racing for the whole season.
Qualifying and all races of the NASCAR GP UK will be broadcasted live on EuroNASCAR’s social media plattform – YouTube, Facebook and Twitch – as well as on Motorsport.tv.
